Cotswolds White Wings was founded by Wayne and Anna, bringing together a lifelong passion for pigeons and over a decade of professional experience within the wedding and events industry. Together, we provide a trusted and beautifully coordinated white dove release service in Gloucestershire, Cheltenham, and the Cotswolds.
Wayne (known by the nickname “Pidge” since he was 14) discovered his love for pigeons when he found a lost homing pigeon and successfully reunited it with its owner. This moment ignited a lifelong passion for the birds. With over 35 years of hands-on experience in racing pigeons, loft management, breeding, and professional homing pigeon training, his knowledge, patience, and commitment to bird welfare form the foundation of everything we do. Every one of our white homing pigeons is raised, trained, and cared for by Wayne, ensuring they are healthy, confident, and safely return home after each release.
Anna is an award-winning baker with over 12 years of experience in the wedding and events industry across Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. Her expertise in managing weddings, coordinating with venues, and liaising with trusted suppliers ensures every detail is carefully planned. Anna works closely with venues, wedding planners, photographers, and other event professionals to ensure each white dove release fits seamlessly into your ceremony and runs flawlessly on the day.
By combining Wayne’s lifelong pigeon expertise with Anna’s extensive event knowledge, we offer the perfect balance of skill and professionalism. Together, we ensure every dove release is beautifully presented, meticulously managed, and handled with care — from your first enquiry through to the moment the birds take flight.
Whether you are planning a romantic wedding in Cheltenham, a family celebration in the Cotswolds countryside, or a heartfelt memorial in Gloucestershire, you can feel confident that your white dove release is in experienced, passionate, and caring hands.
